Environmental Issues

Barrington is the home to a wide variety of flora and fauna due to the coastal nature of the town. The total town area is 15.4 square miles, with 8.4 of land area and 7.0 of water area. Barrington has a large area of fresh and brackish water ponds as well, that are primarily spring feed.

This section of the Town Website is dedicated to bring background as well as current information to interested people regarding the environment we live in.
