Day of Caring | 5th Year of Service
Barrington Day of Caring is a community-wide event for individuals, families, friends, or teams to come together as volunteers to help eligible residents in need through service projects* Examples of Day of Caring projects include repairing a fence, gate, shed, railings, steps, porches, cutting back overgrown bushes or hedges, yard clean-ups.
*At this time, we are focusing on outdoor projects. However, if circumstances change, we will consider projects outside of this scope on a case-by-case basis.
VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS: Volunteer groups are assigned to projects, pre-planned and organized, to assist residents with home projects they need extra help with.
