PROGRAM COORDINATOR / GRANT WRITER
15 hours per week position
$16.00 per hour
Hours:
Monday 4:00 - 8:00 pm (4.0 hours)
Tuesday 12:00 - 4:00 pm (4.0 hours)
Remaining hours to be done offsite
Position Description
-
Grant Writing: Responsible for working with Recreation/Senior Services Director to write and manage all grants for Peck Center for Adult Enrichment.

Arts Festival:
-
Responsible for working with the Recreation Director to build a successful Annual Arts Festival.

Responsible for communicating with vendors including artists and food vendors for this event.

Responsible for working with Administrative staff to execute the Annual Arts Festival.

Press Releases: To Barrington Times for Recreation Department and Senior Services weekly as needed

Wild Apricot Postings: Post new courses and create registrations.

Website Maintenance: Regularly maintain up to date information on the Recreation page, Senior Services page, and Wild Apricot website.

Special Events: Assist with preparation for, and working, at special events as needed, including but not limited to Arts Festival, Great Pumpkin Harvest Party, Tree Lighting, and other events.

Skills Required
Must be:
Dependable
Comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Word
Enjoy working in a team environment
Able to work independently
Have good written and oral communication skills
Have familiarity with simple grants
Have flexibility with work schedule
