PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING  WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Barrington Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. on the following:

Major change to an approved preliminary plan decision- Book 1401, Page 227 in the Town’s Land Evidence Records - at 3 College Lane - Assessor’s Plat 15, Lot 84, R-10 District.  The major change requests to change item #5 in the “Findings of Fact” to allow the provision of affordable housing on the existing house instead of the newly created lot should the lot be further subdivided, per 200-41(D) in the Land Development and Subdivision Regulations.

The hearing will be on the agenda of the Planning Board’s regular business meeting to be held in the Council Chamber at Town Hall, 283 County Road. All interested parties may attend and be heard by the Board. Plans may be viewed at Town Hall in the Building and Planning Office in the Lower Level of Town Hall or online at www.barrington.ri.gov/planningboard.

The Town Hall is accessible to people with disabilities. Individuals requiring any accommodation for disabilities must notify the Barrington Town Clerk’s office at 247-1900 Ext. 301 (Barrington Public Library TDD, 247-3750) in advance of the meeting date.
