Seasonal Parking Passes for Barrington Residents
Barrington residents are able to purchase seasonal beach parking passes online via our new registration platform Civic Rec. Once you have submitted your online application, beach stickers may be picked up at the beach.
Seasonal Passes can be purchased at the beach with cash only, however it is recommended to purchase passes online.
Seasonal beach parking passes are on sale now!
When filling out the online application, we strongly recommend using a desktop or laptop computer, preferably using Google Chrome, rather than a mobile device.
To apply for a Resident Seasonal Beach Parking Pass (Born 1962 or Later) please click here.
To apply for a Senior Resident Seasonal Beach Parking (Born 1961 or Before) please click here.
Once registered online, seasonal beach pass stickers can be picked up at the beach during open hours.
If you were born in 1961 or earlier the cost for a seasonal parking pass is $0. If born in 1962 or later the cost for a seasonal parking pass is $40 (plus processing fee).
- Seasonal parking passes are available ONLY to Barrington Residents. The application is to be completed online.
- All applicants must bring a copy of their receipt (either printed or digital), their driver’s license and their vehicle registration when picking up the sticker. Within the form, you’ll be asked to indicate whether your license and registration both show a Barrington address.
- If both documents show a Barrington address, no additional documentation is needed.
If either document does not, you’ll be required to upload proof of Barrington residency or taxpayer status to complete your application. Accepted documents for proof of residency (must include your name and a Barrington address) include:
- Cover (summary) page of your vehicle lease agreement
- Barrington property tax bill in your name
- RI Secretary of State business filing for a business in your name located in Barrington
- Recent utility bill (e.g., gas, electric, water) in your name at a Barrington address
- For residents 65 years or older that cannot use the online system, you may complete the paperwork at the beach. You must have your Barrington registration and license with you. For those without a Barrington registration, you must bring your license, registration, and a utility bill with your name and current Barrington address.
- All other non-standard registrations must be handled at the Recreation Office located at the Peck Center for Adult Enrichment during business hours.
- If you are registering multiple vehicles, all vehicles must be registered in the name of the applicant. Please upload all registrations as a single PDF, and submit a separate registration form for each individual vehicle.
