Current & Upcoming Events
Sleep on the Beach Campout - May 16th, September 19th - A unique overnight community experience held at Barrington Beach, where families gather for an evening of beach activities, campfires, games, and a night spent under the stars. This event encourages family bonding, outdoor recreation, and memorable shared experiences in one of Barrington’s most cherished public spaces.
Arts Festival - September 27th - A community celebration of creativity featuring local artists, crafters, performers, and hands-on art activities for all ages. The festival provides an opportunity for residents to engage with the arts, support local talent, and enjoy a vibrant day of culture and expression in a welcoming, family-friendly setting.
Harvest Festival - October 24th - One of Barrington’s most popular annual events, bringing the community together to celebrate the fall season. The festival features family activities, local vendors, food, music, and seasonal traditions that highlight community spirit and local partnerships.
Tree Lighting - December 5th - A cherished holiday tradition that marks the start of the winter season. Residents gather for music, seasonal activities, and the lighting of the town tree, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the community.
Cool Kids Camp - June 29th to August 7th - A summer day camp program designed for children ages 5–7, emphasizing play-based learning, social development, creativity, and active fun through crafts, games, and themed activities.
Camp Endeavor - June 29th to August 7th - A six-week summer day camp serving children ages 8–11, focusing on teamwork, creativity, outdoor exploration, and skill-building through themed weeks, enrichment activities, and special events.

The Friends of the Peck Center and Adult Enrichment is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Barrington’s older adults. Through fundraising, advocacy, and community partnerships, the Friends support the Peck Center for Adult Enrichment by helping to fund programs, services, and special initiatives that promote wellness, lifelong learning, social connection, and independence.
Since 1995, the organization has played a vital role in expanding recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities for seniors, ensuring that the Peck Center remains a welcoming and vibrant hub for engagement and support. Contributions from sponsors and donors help enrich programming, improve facilities, and create meaningful experiences that strengthen our community.
Four Town Farm has donated 100 pumpkins each year, for our annual Harvest Festival, adding a classic seasonal touch that helped make the event fun, family-friendly, and memorable for attendees.
Shaw’s supported the Peck Center and community events through food and refreshment donations—helping us create welcoming gatherings and stretch program dollars further so more resources can go directly into activities and services.
Year after year, Vienna Bakery has donated cookies for our Tree Lighting event, adding a warm, festive touch and helping make the celebration even more welcoming for families, friends, and neighbors.
Barrington Music has supported community programming through live performance and event participation, bringing energy, talent, and a local creative presence to Barrington gatherings.
Plant City Barrington helped energize community events through food-truck participation and free food offerings, creating a fun gathering point and helping make events more accessible and enjoyable for attendees.
The Bayside Family YMCA supports wellness at the Peck Center by offering programs such as cardio, chair yoga, and meditation, helping participants stay active, balanced, and connected.
Mastery Martial Arts has supported community events by providing demonstrations at no cost—bringing excitement while highlighting discipline, fitness, confidence-building, and youth development in an engaging way.

How Sponsorship Works
- Support can be financial or in-kind (goods/services, refreshments, printing, supplies, space, instructors, etc.).
- Recognition may include website listing, event signage, printed materials, and social media mentions (as appropriate).
